Stamp Club is Back tomorrow and I'm feeling a little Sping-ish

Well I am very excited that I will be getting together tomorrow night (after a long break) with my Stamp Club. Oh how I have missed our Wednesday nights.

Even though it is (-1) outside I have a bit of Spring fever or maybe cabin fever, but I wanted to warm everyone up with our projects for tomorrow night. Our Stamp Club meets every 3rd Wednesday and we create a few different projects each month. This month we are making an Easel Card and a Shadow Box frame.

These cute Shadow Box Frames are great little home decor items that also make beautiful gifts for that hard to buy for friend.

For the Shadow Box Frames we will use:

Ink: SU! Rose Red classic Stamp Pad, Stazon Black ink pad

Tools: SU! Decor Elements Chocolate Chip and Rose Red flowers, Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, SU! Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die, SU!'s NEW Scallop Trim Border punch from the Sale-a-bration mini and Small Wooden Shadow Box Frames from local dollar store.

For these Easel Cards we are using:

Ink: SU! Old Olive, Orchid Opulence, Rich Razzleberry classic Stamp Pad,
Stamps: SU! Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Sets

Would you like a night out and meet new friends? At our monthly Stamp Club we make at least 2 project of medium to advance level. The cost is $10 or Free with a $35 purchase. If you make a purchase you will be entered in to the months draw to receive the Hostess benefits if the total orders from the night qualify for these benefits. If you would like to find out more about the Club please contact me for more information or to sign up for our March Club where we will be making Magic Boxes.

SU!s My Digital Studio Scrapbook made easy

Hey Everyone, I was playing around today on Stampin' Up!s My Digital Studio software and wanted to quickly share a few of the 20 pages I made this afternoon. Yes I said 20 pages in just over 2 hours.

We have a beautiful new nephew, Braydon and I have so many pictures of his first few weeks that I really wanted to get scrapped so I can add them to our Family album but I just haven't had the time to complete them the traditional way. So I had a bit of time today and choose to try the pre-designed layouts. I used the Designer option with the Rock-a-By Boy template and then choose the pick and click option for adding my own photos where I wanted. Now I did change a few of the elements here and there (I didn't want all the pages in the same colour scheme)

I can't wait to get these printed and into our Family album...

As you can see by the above I did make some changes to some of the embellishments and background papers. Until today I had not used the pre-designed Layouts but I think I will again. I do love traditional Scrapbooking but this was so nice and fast that I will use it again and I got so much accomplished.
