Its Time for another Mojo Monday Sketch!!!

Mojo Monday time again and I have completed it before Wednesday!! Yahoo me!!! lol This weeks sketch (Mojo 134) I found a bit challenging but love the way my card turned out. I created this card around a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Mini. This is also one I have created for Mothers day!!!

Here is a bit of a close up of the flowers so you can see how I used the sponge daubers and matching ink to colour them to match the card and finished them off with a SU! Very Vanilla brad.

For this Cards I used:

Paper: SU! Dusty Darango, Bermuda Bay, and Very Vanilla Card stock, SU! Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Mini (Item# 117161
Ink: SU! Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette classic Ink Pads
Stamps: Well Scripted from the Occasions Mini (Item #117072)
Tools: SU! Scallop Trim Border Punch, SU!s Mat Pack and Piercing tool, Spounge Daubers, Very Vanilla Brad. SU! Very Vanilla 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and Dusty Durango 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, and SU! Pretties Kits and other assorted flowers.

I hope you like what I have come up with and hope you play along, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!!

Karate Kid punch happy post

Just a quick share today, a my good Friend and follower on this blog, well her Son is turning 8 soon and she is having his Birthday party at a local Dojo that hosts great kids parties. So she told me that she was going to make his invitations using SU!s All in the Family Stamp set and Family Accessories too Stamp set which has a stamp of a Gi (pictures of these sets can be found at the end of this blog) I had remembered seeing a cute Karate Kid made from SU! Punches out there in Blog land and asked her if I could have a day to play before she started his invitations.

After searching the HUGE list of favorites I have bookmarked over the years I found the website I was looking for. Kudo's for this project go to Brenda from Hawaii and her site Sweet as a Gum Drop, where she has the instructions there for this and many many more. Now I did have to substitue one of the oval punches but here is what I came up with... and Carol has said this will be used on Sean's Invitation!!!

I had to make one Karate girl too :) Besides I know of an April Birthday that would like this on her card... right Sis?... hehe

This Weeks Mojo Monday Sketch

I am back with this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch #133. I had these done yesterday but had some difficulties posting so here it is!!!

With Stampin' Up!s big announcment yesterday about the up coming Colour Renovation this July, I decided to pull out some of my old favorites that will be joining us again soon. I just Love Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango. I decided to make 2 cards this week one is very feminine and the other although still feminine could be a bit more versatile.
Here is a bit of a close up of the ovals so you can see how I used one of the stamps as a border around the oval.

For these Cards I used:
Paper:
Card #1 SU! Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Whisper White Card stock, SU! Baja Breese and Pink Pirouette Designer Series Paper (Retired)
Card#2 SU! Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango. and Whisper White Card stock, SU! Washington Apple Designer Series Paper (Retired)
Ink:
Card#1 SU! Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette classic Ink Pads
Card#2 SU! Pacific Point, tangerine tango classic Ink Pads
Stamps: Vintage Vogue from the Occasions Mini (Item #118598)
Tools: SU!s Mat Pack and Piercing tool, Assorted mini Brads

I hope you like what I have come up with and hope you play along, leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!!

Happy Easter... Bunnies, Chicks and Lambs

Hello Everyone and Happy Easter,

Just a quick share and then I have to go get ready because we are off to my Sister's For Dinner. I made a cute little gift for everyone at Dinner tonight (27 to be exact) and just had to share. Now I can NOT take credit for these little critters as there are many wonderful blogs and Stampers out there that have come up with these, Unfortunately too many to give them all credit ( and to be honest I don't know who exactly I CASED these from) But thank you to all of them.
Now these little critters are all made with Stampin' Up! Punches. I got the mini tin cans from our local dollar store along with the googly eye. I have filled each with chocolate eggs or Jellie Beans.

Hope everyone has a fabulous long weekend and a Happy Easter spent with Family and Friends, I know thats what I will be doing.
