Craft sale Crazy

The last few weeks I have been crazy busy getting ready for local craft sales and what Fun I have had at each of them and still one more to go this Saturday.

I thought I would share a few pictures of my table set ups for you!
The first 6 Pictures are of my set up at the Picton Craft show and Sale. I know it looks like there is alot on the tables and there is, this was a "joint" table with my Upline Dorothy and we have made sure to have a better location next year so that we can have a better table set up. The pictures below are the best I could get of my parts of the tables.
The always popular Tumbled Marble stamped Coasters
In this one you can see Dorothy's part of the Tables to the left (with the green table cloth)
 Hand Stamped Candles,

The next Pictures are from last weekends "Mistletoe and Magic, a Christmas Trunk Show" which was a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society of Belleville, Hastings & Quinte and the Quinte Humane Society. They raised $1606.00 to be split between them!!! Way to go to Barb Forgie and all the amazing Artisans that participated.

November Stamp Club with Gift Card/ Money Holders

Here is a look at the Gift card holders we are making this month at Stamp Club.

If you would like to learn how to make these contact me. There are a few spaces left for tonights Club in Picton as well as a few spaces left for Next Wednesdays Club in Belleville. Time is 7pm -9:30pm both nights and drop in cost is $10.

Today I thought I would share the basic direction on how to make the Jingle All the way Giftcard/Candy holder. If you need more detail or have any product question please let me know!!!

The Jingle all the way Gift Card holder/candy tube is so cute and easy to make. (if you do not have tubes for candy you can adjust step two a bit to accommodate rolled candy such as lifesavers.

Cardstock Dimensions:
Base: 4 ¼ x 8 ¼ Score @ 3 5/8 and 7 7/8
Front : Real Red 3 x 3 ¼
Very Vanilla 2 ¾ x 3
Inside: Certain Celery 2 ½ x 3 ½
Real Red 3 ¼ x 2
  1. Score 4 ¼ ” x 8 ¼” cardstock along long side at 3 5/8” and at 4 7/8”
  2. Using scissors or paper trimmer, cut slits from score line to score line at 1”, and 3 ¼ ” to hold test tube
  3. Now fold score lines
  4. Card Inside: Using decorative edge punch, punch one long side of 2 ½ x 3 ½ certain celery
  5. Adhere Celery cardstock to inside of card only using adhesive on the 3 out sides (sides and bottom so that you are making a pouch for the gift card)
  6. Adhere Real Red 3 ¼ x 2 cardstock on top of Celery cardstock centered
  7. Stamp sentiment on real Red cardstock in Black classic Ink
  8. Outside of Card:Fill tube with your Favorite Candy and insert test tube in slits (the reason to do this before adding the ribbon is to make sure the tube will fit and the ribbon is not too tight)
  9. Add adhesive to the front and back centered of the card for ribbon, ribbon should hang equally over each side of the card (book style)
  10. Adhere real Red 3 x 3 ¼ cardstock centered over ribbon
  11. Stamp image on Vanilla 2 ¾ x 3 and adhere to Red centered using Dimensionals
  12. Tie Ribbon in a knot
If you enjoyed these projects please let me know by leaving a comment and thank you for stopping by.

Christmas Wall Hangers

With such a busy month ahead I seem to be always crafting and creating. Today I was creating Christmas Wall hangers in matching tins. I saw a hanger like these while ago on someone's blog and I am sorry to say I did not save it so I do not know who to give credit to for the original idea and I had some retired SU! cigar tins laying around and thought that these would make great gifts in a matching tin.

For these I used the the Big Shot, SU!s Bigz Clear die Scallop Square, Chip board and SU!s designer series paper (some retired and some is Jolly Holiday and Deck the halls) and 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain ribbon (Early Espresso and Real Red) as well as 5/8" Whisper White organza ribbon and various SU! Punches. To create the letters I used my Cricut (only because I have not bought the Serif Essentials Alphabet Bigz Die yet.. hint to Santa) The tins I used are retired SU! cigar tins (sorry)

Hope you enjoy todays Share and try this at home!!!

Remember I will be at the Picton Arena for the Christmas Craft sale this Saturday and Sunday from 10-4.

More Christmas Goodies

Did you know there are only 50 days until Christmas... does that make you nervous or excited... me a whole lot of both!!!

I have still be locked away in my craft studio getting ready for a very busy month of November making Christmas Gifts, Craft Sale items and preparing for workshops and classes.

Today I would like to share a few more items that I have been working on for my up coming craft sales.

First are these adorable lip balm holders. I have made 2 styles, a purse and then a Christmas book. Both use the same template (thanks to Melissa Stout for sharing the template a few years back on her blog)

The second project I am sharing are these too cute post-it note holders using Stampin' Up!s Play date DSP and Owl Punch.

My first Craft Fair of the Season is next weekend at the Picton Arena, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4. Stop out and get some Christmas shopping done.

Well I have to run and put the finishing touches on tomorrows Kids Christmas House Class.

Craft Sale goodies

So sorry that I have been neglecting my posts on here. Besides Mommy life and Halloween themed birthday parties I have been locked away in my studio getting ready for up coming craft fairs. Here are a few of the items I have been creating.

First I will share with you these wonderful nugget tins. Each tin is filled with 10 Hersey's Chocolate nuggets, which to my surprise you can not find anywhere here in Ontario, seem that Hersey's has decided not to sell them here anymore :( But thanks to a good Friend (my upline Dorothy) and another new friend in the US I have got my hands on just enough nuggets to finish off these tins.
Second is these adorable test tube treat cards. These make great cards for kids and teachers, each tube is filled with either smarties or skittles.

My last share tonight as these cute calendars. They are 4x4 coasters with magnets attached to the back so they can stick on the fridge.
Hope you enjoy looking and I will be back soon to share more of my craft fair projects.
