Oh so Pretty, Stampin' Up! Lap of Luxury Designer Series paper

I Love Stampin' Up!s Designer series paper! I am not sure if it the fact that it is double sided, nice heavy weight paper, beautiful patterns or that it coordinates with Stampin' Up!s stamps, card stock, inks and so much more.

For this card I knew I wanted to use SU!s Lap of Luxury DSP (120436) and I loved the challenge from Inkspiration back in February, as soon as I saw it I knew it would be one out of my "normal".

To make these cards you need:
    * SU! Prety in Pink, Concord Crush and Very Vanilla card stock, and Lap Of Luxury DSP (120436)

   * SU! Prety in Pink and Concord Crush Classic Ink pad
    * SU! Stamp sets used are from Sale-a-Bration, Sweet Summer and So Happy for you
    * SU! In Colour Glimmer Brads from the Occasions Mini (121005), SNAIL adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals

Spring, Garter Snakes and All Occasion card camp

I really thought I had posted these, I am not sure where the month of March has gone, but I can say I am sure glad spring is here. The birds are back, tulips have sprouted and I even had a scare from a garder snake in my garden this past weekend, I really do not like snakes and this is our first spring in our new home in "the Country". I have been advised that I will see a lot more of there guys, I "Google'd" South Eastern Ontario Garter snakes and came across something I am not looking forward to... "Garter Snakes hibernate in large groups in a den, which is where hundreds of these snakes gather and hibernate for the winter" HUNDREDS OF THESE???
Ok so enough about my fears of snakes and get on with what you are all here for, to see some Cards!! Earlier in March I held an all occasions card camp and here are the cards the Ladies made, The made 2 of each card for a total of 12 cards all for only $30.

My Next Card Camp will be held on May 27-28 watch for my new spring schedule to be posted on April 1st, I will still be holding my regular Monthly Stamp Clubs and All Day Crops but have added some new WOW project classes, Monthly Technique Tuesdays, Scrapbooking Class and more.

Greenhouse Gala Card Share

I feel so bad that until yesterday it had been over 2 weeks since I posted last and I was on such a good role. The worst part is I had cards created and ready for posting. I would like to blame that I have been busy with workshops and classes or I could blame that I was was down for a few days while my DH transferred my data to my new laptop, but that would only be excuses so I am sorry.

For today's card share I was inspired by a sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday back on March 4th (wow I am behind in posting) and the beautiful designer series paper from Stampin' Up! called Greenhouse Gala (117167)
Here is the sketch
Here is Greenhouse Gala DSP
To make this you need:
    * SU! Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White card stock, Greenhouse Gala DSP (117167)
    * SU!
Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze Classic Ink pad
    * SU! Stamp set used is Friends Never Fade (118750)
    * SU! 1 3/8" XL square (119877) and 1/2" small circle
Punchs
    * SU! Pewter Build-a-Brads (109128), Baja Breeze 1/2" Seam Binding ribbon (122331), SNAIL adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals

Don't you just love how Build-a-brad allows you to make the perfect brad to match your card using your designer series paper and the 1/2" circle punch.

I do love the way this card came together and you like this card too, please leave a comment.

If you would like to host a workshop in my studio or your home, I can come and show you and your friends how to make these and many other great cards, drop me a line I still have a few dates open in April.
